Student Life Survey Design

ENSA Student Society Survey

Through two years of involvement with ENSA, as a society president and active member of the student body at Edinburgh Napier University, I have developed a close understanding of the organisation (ENSA) and the people within it. That proximity has also made me aware of a recurring tension: a disconnect between the effort ENSA invests in its services and how those services are perceived by parts of the wider student body. Concerns raised informally, such as societies receiving less attention than sports clubs or societies operating better outside ENSA, suggest that something is in disarray.

This project does not set out to argue that ENSA is not doing a good job, as my experience has given me a clear view of the genuine commitment staff and student representatives bring to their work. The aim is to identify realistic, actionable improvements that work with the structures already in place rather than against them.
