View case study →As part of my studies in MSc User Experience Design, I have developed a strong foundation in user-centred design principles, research methodologies, and practical design skills. My coursework has included projects focused on accessibility, service design, and speculative concepts, allowing me to apply my learning to a variety of contexts and user needs.
My degree in Web Design & Development provided me with a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and design aspects of creating digital experiences. I gained proficiency in front-end development, user interface design, and web technologies, while also developing a strong sense of aesthetics and user experience principles.
I graduated top of my class with First Class Honours, receiving the University Class Award.
Led a team of 80–120 student members, coordinating department leads and stakeholder relationships across university faculty and external sponsors. Communicated complex engineering work to diverse audiences — sponsor presentations, competition judges, university outreach events, and a featured interview at the team's annual launch event. Regularly gathered member feedback to identify process pain points, founding a dedicated infrastructure department to centralise team services, and redesigning management meetings from lecture-style presentations into collaborative sessions.
Contributed to society governance and student engagement initiatives alongside academic and extracurricular commitments.
Delivered consistent customer service across a fast-paced retail environment over two+ years, resolving customer issues, supporting visual merchandising, and contributing to stock and store operations. Took an active role in onboarding and supporting new staff, developing communication and people skills alongside practical retail experience.
I joined Formula Student Team Napier in September of 2023 to create a new website as part of their PR & Marketing department. My goals were to move away from costly third party services, moving towards a self-hosted website, and to update the site to a custom, more fitting design for its users and organisation needs.
